Common Questions
When do I need an asbestos test?
Before any renovation or demolition of a building built before 2000, or if you suspect asbestos-containing materials are present. Required by law before licensed removal.
What materials might contain asbestos?
Common materials include fibro cladding, textured ceilings ("popcorn"), vinyl floor tiles, roof shingles, pipe lagging and old insulation boards.
Can I test it myself?
We strongly advise against disturbing suspected materials. Improper sampling releases fibres. Our team samples safely with the right PPE and containment.
How much does testing cost?
